Finishing designer and manufacturer, aask us, has revealed the VIP lounge design for this year’s Workspace Design Show.

The concept, developed by creative director at Rainlight, Yorgo Lykouria, will be brought to life by aask us at the show on the 4-5 November.

Combining environmentally-friendly materials and bespoke systems, the VIP area has been designed to illustrate the shift towards flexible working.

Esha Bark-Jones, show director at Workspace Design Show, explains: “The space is designed to represent the ephemerality of our world, which has been enhanced by the recent year of remote working and our increased reliance on digital communications.

“The design also reflects the way the outside world is brought into our homes in a way that we never have before experienced. The lounge will be realised in raw aluminium profiles and expanded metal mesh. These are 100 percent recyclable materials and do not contain any harmful coatings or use any harmful processes.

“I believe the VIP lounge is one of the best features at the show; I cannot wait for our members to come and witness the space in person in November.”

aask us will also be exhibiting at the show; it’s team will be on hand to discuss its wide-range of finishing products.

Anthony Chadley, managing director at aask us, said: “We’re honoured to have been chosen by Workspace Design Show to provide a pioneering VIP lounge and we cannot wait to bring Yorgo’s vision to life.

“We look forward to showcasing our latest offering on our stand and revealing the unique space at the show.”
