The acoustic technician apprenticeship is now in place with training provided through LSBU and the course starts on 20 September.

The apprenticeship offers another route to bring new people to the profession plus there is funding from government for smaller employers whilst levy paying larger companies can recoup their payments.

Qualification

An Apprentice will be able to apply for TechIOA at the end of the taught course, and AMIOA after completing the End Point Assessment, when they could also apply for EngTech status. Details of the LSBU course available here.
