More than 60 of Armstrong Ceilings’ Optima mineral canopies were specified by design consultants 20.20 for The International – a private members’ lounge at Liverpool Football Club – as part of a refurbishment of the club’s corporate hospitality suites and associated public areas.
The Armstrong 1,170mm x 1,010mm white canopies, which are highly light-reflective and manufactured with 82 per cent recycled content, perform acoustically to Sound Absorption Class A. This high sound absorption performance helps to reduce reverberation time and background noise level.
At Anfield, some of the feature lighting elements and are complemented by 136m² of 600mm x 600mm white fine fissured mineral tiles in the reception area. They were installed by W Braithwaite & Son during the closed football season.
