Knauf Insulation’s rock mineral wool, ThermoShell external wall insulation (EWI) system has received the prestigious British Board of Agrément (BBA) certification after meeting all the requirements set out by the BBA under the European Technical Approval Guideline (ETAG) 004.
ThermoShell is a solid wall insulation solution suitable for a wide range of buildings. Designed to last the lifetime of the building, it shields the existing façade from the effects of weathering and can upgrade a property to current Building Regulations and beyond.
Thanks to core insulation manufactured from rock mineral wool, the material is non-combustible, with a Euroclass A1 fire classification, and offers improved acoustic performance, reducing the impact of external noise.
