British Gypsum has achieved independent Green Deal compliance certification from the British Board of Agrément (BBA) and has now launched its new Green Deal solutions and training package.
The BBA approved systems include DriLyner RF, DriLyner TL, GypLyner Universal and GypLyner IWL. These are designed to make it simpler for the trade to choose suitable internal wall insulation (IWI) systems for Green Deal and ECO projects and then install them effectively.
British Gypsum has also created a new range of training courses for apprentices and professionals, developed with industry and CITB input, including one-day system-specific courses as well as a comprehensive five-day specialist upskilling programme that covers the installation of all its approved IWI systems. It will also support those completing the five-day course in gaining a formal NVQ Level 2 in insulation and building treatments – internal wall insulation, by arranging site visits from certified assessors.
