Clansman Interiors continues to be busy with a number of refurbishment and fit-out projects in and around Glasgow and has recently completed a project installing glazed screens for partitioned office space and glazed doors.
The project, at Wheatley House in Glasgow, comprised the supply and installation of Komfort Polar 30 single glazed partitioning systems and Komfort Polar 101 double glazed along with glazed doors.
The Komfort Polar 30 used a mixture of 15mm and 12mm clear toughened heat-soaked glass to give an added strength and reduce the risk of breakage.
The Komfort Polar 101 double glazed partition used a combination of 14.8 mm and 16.8mm acoustic laminate glass to achieve the high dB rating of 53db.
A set of Trojan double sliding doors were also installed at the building’s internal entrance. All SER and wind load calculations for these had to be worked out and fed into the appropriate specification.
Within both sets of partitions Komfort aluminum door frames were installed along with solid core doors from Forza with laminated finish including stainless steel ironmongery.
