The Common Assessment Standard is reviewed every year to ensure that it continues to meet the pre‐qualification requirements of the industry. Version 3 will be published on 1 January 2022 and the dedicated Common Assessment Standard Review Group, comprised of representatives from across Build UK members and the wider industry, including BEIS and BSI, will be meeting in July to discuss what changes may be required. Members can submit any suggested changes for consideration by completing the online form by Friday 2 July.
The rollout of the Common Assessment Standard continues to gather pace, with the Association of Specialist Underpinning Contractors (ASUC) becoming the second Trade Association member to adopt it as part of its membership audit process.
