FPDC is leading a review of British Standard for drylining and partitioning and wants FPDC contractor members to step forward and help ensure that the review captures the right issues.

Steve Halcrow, FPDC’s executive director, said: “Some time ago FPDC asked for volunteers to participate in a working group to re-write the code. We still have spaces on this group and need input from contractor members.

“As well as those directly involved in the meetings there is room for a number of members who can participate and have input via telephone and email, so if you would like to know more about how to be involved please contact us.

“This first meeting should take place by the end of July and the whole project is anticipated to take 9-12 months.

“This is a rare opportunity to be involved in the drafting of the wording of the Standard which affects our everyday working lives, so please don’t miss it. There are very limited spaces so if you are interested please contact FPDC immediately to register your interest.”
