The Department for International Trade (DIT) chose leading finishing manufacturer, aask us, to represent the UK at Batimat in Paris.
In conjunction with the British Embassy in Paris, the DIT, invited the UK’s prime manufacturing companies to attend the international trade show and represent upcoming innovation in the construction sector.
aask us was selected as the company is in a unique position where it is able to help meet France’s growing demand for specialist interior and exterior metalwork, especially with the Olympics 2024 regeneration and building schedule.
The ten chosen companies were personally introduced to the French market by the DIT and British Embassy at the International Pavilion at Batimat, as well as the embassy hosting an Anglo-Franco dinner to help build relations with key clients.
Anthony Chadley, managing director at aask us, said: “We’re extremely grateful to have been chosen by The Department for International Trade to represent the best of British manufacturing at Batimat.
“We had a successful four days full of meetings and discussions, which we hope will lead to new business opportunities. The Embassy dinner was of great interest, as it is not often I get the opportunity to be seated next to one of the leading architects in Europe. I would like to thank the DIT for arranging our visit and the British Embassy for being such marvelous hosts. We look forward to our future within the French market.”
