With a new senior management team, Etag is looking forward to leading the way in construction materials supply.

Etag is pleased to announce a new management re-organisation that will reinforce its position as a leading fixings and construction materials supplier. The new management structure will focus on the internal structure of the company, making daily operations more streamlined and efficient for customers and the Etag team alike. Specialising in fixings, insulation, mechanical and electrical containment, interiors and general building supplies, the new management team are looking forward to bringing the company forward to the next level.

Shirley Bowman will be moving into the role of Managing Director of Etag Fixings Ireland and Etag Fixings UK. Shirley began with Etag in 2005 as Office Manager. Her organisational skills have been invaluable to Etag over the years. She re-located to London in 2011 to help establish Etag UK, where it has grown rapidly. In 2018, she became Group General Manager. “The last five months have been tough for everyone including the construction industry in general, however, it has adapted hugely for the safety of all. At Etag, we have shown that we can quickly source materials and innovative products for our customers. Over the coming years, we would like to continue strengthening relationships with our suppliers and source products that can change and enhance the construction industry.”

Shaun Bonner will now step into the role of Group Sales Director, leading two dynamic sales teams in Ireland and the UK. “Sales have continued to grow year on year for us, even with lockdown, Etag are still on course to hit our 2020 targets”, says Mr Bonner.  Going forward Etag will intensify its interests in M&E support, containment and modular fabrication, whilst continuing to excel in drylining, façade and building materials supply.

Etag began from the knowledge and experience of Paul Bonner and Damien Lynch over 15 years ago. The two men brought an excellent team of people together to create the Etag we see today. “Over the years, we have expanded our product range from just fixings to having five main product divisions based on the needs of our customers,” states Mr Bonner. Etag has become known for its personable team’s expertise, and working with its customers to supply quality products to fulfil the project requirements at a time to suit.

“Last year, we celebrated 15 years in business”, Mr Lynch states. “Paul and I are proud of what we have achieved over the years with Etag. Steering the company through the recession was hard but it showed what Etag is best at, flexibility, innovation and team spirit. We continually work with our customers, investigating what they require and then sourcing it for the right price. Now is the right time for Paul and myself to step back but continue to guide Etag into its next stage of growth.”

Etag’s team are part of what makes the company unique. “We have a great team, who work hard to maintain good working relationships with our customers, suppliers and each other,” Mr Lynch says. Etag adapt and flex to their customer’s needs and work with them to find the required solution.

Shirley and Shaun are supported by a well established and experienced management team. The senior management team now includes Dave O’Reilly (Sales Manager Ireland), Vince Hanley (Sales Manager UK),  Gerard Gleeson (Financial Controller), Katya Mooney (Operations Manager Ireland), Ed Kelly (Operations Manager UK), Jana Rejtharova (Group HR Manager), and Kelly Gartland (Group Marketing Manager).
