Despite having reported around £9m worth of work secured for 2020 and contracts worth a further £4m in the pipeline, Evora Construction called in administrators from Auker Rhodes Accounting on Monday 5 October.

The company ended its last financial year owing trade creditors around £2.5m and subcontractors told The Press that they were owed substantial sums of money, with one who did not wish to be identified claiming they were owed £100,000.

Evora workied mainly in the commercial and leisure sector, specialising in new build, fit out, refurbishment project and shop fitting.
