Promat, Marley Eternit and Siniat (formerly Lafarge Plasterboard) are co-hosting a free one day conference on 28 November 2012, that will cover what’s new in dry construction walling products and systems.

The event, which will provide an opportunity to gain up to eight RIBA accredited CPD points, will take place on Wednesday 28 November from 2pm to 6pm at the Building Centre inStore Street,London.

The conference will include a keynote speech by well known broadcaster David Shukman. David currently covers the environment and science and his reports have taken him as far afield as the Antarctic ice-sheet, the Amazon rainforest and the Gulf of Mexico.

The session will consist of accredited CPDs on the principles of rainscreen façade systems and passive fire protection systems, as well as the chance to learn more about the role of gypsum products in sustainable construction.  A technical surgery will run throughout the session where experts from all three companies will be available to help with queries about specific projects and applications.

Speaking on behalf of all three companies, Anthea Kerslake, said: “As manufacturers we are continuously working to ensure we provide the best possible solutions for our customers.  Construction products and applications are constantly evolving.  That’s why it is important we hold events like this so that clients can come along and discuss specific project requirements, network with industry professionals and earn important CPD points.”

Places are free but limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please email info@marleyeternit.co.uk or call 01283 722588 to register.
