FIS member EE Smith Contracts is to provide the full interior fit-out, including mechanical, electrical and audio-visual packages at a development of 15 apartments, offices and retail space at 55-91 Knightsbridge.
Based in Leicester, EE Smith Contracts can trace its roots back to 1897 and has completed projects for five-star London hotels, the UK Supreme Court and Manchester United.
The contract, in association with Sir Robert McAlpine, Dixon Jones, MSMR and APML Estates, will see the business working on the project until its completion towards the end of 2020.
The grade II-listed property, built in 1905, is in the heart of Knightsbridge, and close to Hyde Park as well as Knightsbridge underground station and will be restored to its former glory, along its 100-metre long span.
