The West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges (WYCC) and its partner Lattitude7 are offering two free online Higher Performing Workplaces taster sessions to provide businesses with an introduction to international trade.

Higher Performing Workplaces (HPW) offers training that is designed to help SMEs grow by developing internal talent.

The first, on Tuesday 16 June at 10am, aims to help businesses with Export and Innovation. This one-hour webinar give an overview of why you should export and will discuss the fundamental steps needed to take to introduce your business to international markets covering issues such as market choice; methods of entry, logistics and regulations and the importance of culture and language.

The second, on Tuesday 16 June, at 11.30am, will discuss scuss the pros and cons of using agents vs. distributors in your international market entry strategies. There is often confusion about the roles of agents and distributors, so it is important to understand the difference between the two before you enter into any discussions.
