Leicester-based Measom Group, one of the country’s leading specialist drywall, ceiling and plastering contractors, has appointed John Pryer as the Group’s board director responsible for business development and marketing.
Mr Pryer joins the Measom Group from British Gypsum where he was the UK Sales Director. With more than 30 years in the construction industry and building product sector his extensive experience will provide a valuable contribution to the continuing growth of the Measom Group.

Measom Group has a £65 million turnover and is currently working on a range of prestigious contracts across the UK including the Land Securities Nova development near Victoria station in London, the redevelopment of the BBC White City site for Stanhope and the new Brookfield Multiplex office scheme on London Wall in the City of London.
Measom is a third generation family company that was established in 1934. It operates in the drywall industry in the sectors of high-rise residential, healthcare, education, commercial, leisure and retail. Other group companies include Four M, providing drywall services in the new build housing market and Kingston Drywall work in the same industry sectors as Measom but on a smaller scale.
