Minster Insulation and Dry Lining has demonstrated its commitment to being a sustainable business operation by gaining Chain of Custody (CoC) certification.
Chain of Custody is the paperwork flow through the chain, from the forest to the final retailer, which proves that the timber product is derived from well-managed forests.
Organisations wishing to become CoC certified must meet clear requirements in product traceability, storage and handling, invoicing, and record keeping.
All of Minster’s branches can ensure that all supply chain links have an audited CoC process. In addition, all certified timber products supplied by Minster can be identified and tracked, providing a traceable guarantee that the product comes from a legal and well managed source.
Managing Director, Chris Whitlock spoke of the certification saying; “We’re continuing to work towards minimising any impact we have on the environment, from the levels of waste within our business, to everything we send to our customers’ sites.”
