Global acoustic ceilings manufacturer OWA has expanded its UK based specification sales team with the appointment of Graeme Hudson. In his new role as specification sales manager, Graeme will provide dedicated regional support to customers and contractors across Scotland.
Graeme brings with him over a decade of experience working in the commercial suspended ceiling sector, and will use his knowledge and expertise to support the wider specification of OWA’s extensive range of metal and mineral acoustic ceiling solutions.
Commenting on his new role, OWA’s sales specification manager (Scotland) Graeme Hudson said: “OWA is a well-established international manufacturer and over recent years, a number of high profile contracts and new product launches have really helped put OWA on the map here in the UK. I am delighted to be joining the company at such an exciting time and to support our growing customer base in Scotland.”
Established in Germany in 1946, OWA is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of metal and mineral ceiling systems. OWA specialises in the manufacturer and supply of high quality mineral and metal suspended ceiling systems which combine acoustic performance with stunning aesthetics. The company’s varied product range includes the OWAtecta metal ceilings collection, OWAlifetime mineral wool tiles, OWAconsult designer collection and advanced systems for hygiene and fire resistance.
The latest addition to OWA’s metal product range is the new S14 acoustic canopy. Suitable for use across the sectors, including education, hospitality and commercial offices, S14 has been designed to enhance any contemporary open-plan interior space while offering class A sound absorption. The standard one-piece, 2 m x 1 m, powder coated, rectangular metal canopy can be installed in arrays to create stunning ‘floating’ ceiling designs. S14 is stocked in white and black, has an integrated acoustic pad and is supplied with suspension rods so they can be relocated if needed once installed. S14 can also be made to order to meet bespoke design requirements, including a variety of different sizes, shapes, colours, perforations and mesh patterns.
