Pacy & Wheatley has recently completed an installation of over 650m2 of a Rockfon Mono acoustic plaster system at Stephenson House. Stephenson House is a large building located near Euston in central London. It is 7 stories high and is a mixture of retail and apartments. The renovations were undertaken by principal contractor 8Build and included cafes, restaurants, retail and apartment refurbishments. Pacy & Wheatley were instructed to install the Rockfon Mono Acoustic ceilings in the reception, café and several lift lobbies.

There were challenges throughout the project, such as the integration of the many light fittings and ventilation, as well as the 150 hanging rods, which we needed to work around in the main area. This was due to the large lighting features in the reception. The café and lobby areas again had their own issues with regard to lighting integration as well as working in busy areas installing the acoustical product. Pacy & Wheatley successfully completed this project and are thrilled with the results. We formed a great working relationship with 8Build and will be pleased to work with them in the future.
