Commercial interiors specialists Paramount is set to accelerate its growth by opening a new office in Bristol, creating up to 20 specialist jobs in the city.

The Cardiff-headquartered company, which has been trading since 1989, will strengthen its presence in the market with a Bristol city centre base, as it targets £50-million turnover within three years.

Paramount’s new office, on historic Welsh Back, alongside Bristol’s floating harbour, is currently being fitted out, with its opening in July signaling the company’s ambitions for further expansion into Bristol and beyond.

Paramount sales director Kevin Mashford, who will lead the Bristol team, supported by the rest of the management team, said: “We are really excited to be opening an office in the heart of Bristol and we look forward to ensuring Paramount keeps going from strength to strength.

“Paramount’s success is based on its exceptionally talented team of people who take a huge amount of pride in working together with our clients to ensure we achieve the highest possible standards.

“We pride ourselves on making places where people want to be and that’s certainly the case with our new Bristol office. It will not only be a highly practical, destination workspace, but also one of the city’s most aesthetically-pleasing, ‘Instagrammable’ offices to attract the talented people who will maintain our momentum and help Paramount clients prosper.”

Bristol-based Bafta-nominated natural history film-making company, Offspring Films will also call the Welsh Back building its new home following a fit-out by Paramount who will use state-of-the-art design capabilities, to celebrate Welsh Back architecture and create a meeting place for the Bristol business community.

The new West of England office represents another exciting chapter in the development of a company that in 2018 was the subject of a management buyout, led by Paramount’s managing director, Richard Jones.

“The opening of the Bristol office is a real statement of intent by Paramount,” Richard commented.

“It confirms our commitment to invest further in our people, our facilities, and the exceptional service we provide for our clients to ensure we continue to be one of the best in our field.

“As we embark on the next phase of our journey, I am confident our Bristol team will play a key role in making sure Paramount turnover surpasses the £50 million-mark within the next three years.

“Paramount has developed an enviable reputation across the UK for creating innovative workspaces that transform businesses, and I know our Bristol team will ensure we fulfill our vast potential.”

Paramount, whose turnover currently stands at £33.5million, is already well known across England where it has developed office space for a number of leading companies.
