Over the company’s 30-year history, it has recognised the importance health and safety plays within the build environment, and for ten of these years Paramountg has successfully maintained ISO 9001 standards and, most recently, achieved ISO 45001 certification.

Alcumus SafeContractor is the UK’s leading health and safety accreditation, assessing all health and safety arrangements, policies and qualifications of contractors.

Paramount Managing Director Richard Jones said: ““Our diverse client base ranges from major law and accountancy firms, to public bodies and global manufacturers, but all expect the same high-quality standards. As we continue our expansion, we were seeking a partner to continually improve our health and safety standards in-line with our long-term plans. The Alcumus SafeContractor accreditation signals to our customers that we will never compromise on health and safety, by effectively monitoring and managing the sub-contractors we work with across the UK.”

Gemma Archibald, Managing Director of Alcumus SafeContractor commented: “Appropriate health and safety vetting of your supply chain is essential to minimise the risks to individuals and your business. We’re thrilled that Paramount has joined a growing number of construction companies choosing Alcumus SafeContractor to become safer, healthier and stronger.”
