Spaces are still available at the 2014 Plaisterers’ Training Awards lunch where the guest of honour, the Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Fiona Woolf, will be joined by sports broadcaster John Inverdale, who will host this year’s.

The Plaisterers’ livery company is aiming to fill the magnificent Plaisterers’ Hall in the City of London on Tuesday 4th November to celebrate an exceptional year of achievement in training and education.

The  new Master of the Plaisterers’ Company, Mike Jones, a former managing director of British Gypsum,  said: “Young plasterers and dryliners and their mentors deserve our full support and recognition. Training is the life blood of our industry and once again we shall be presenting the cream of the crop.”

The Plaisterers’ Training Awards  represent a wide cross-section of the plastering and drylining trade, training colleges and independent training providers with particular links to construction trades and other organisations actively involved in construction skills training.

The 2014 awards are sponsored by British Gypsum, Saint Gobain Formula and Hadley Group.
