Profab Access, the access panel business, has been acquired by Bilco UK for an undisclosed sum to create a one-stop shop for roof, floor, wall and ceiling access solutions.
Profab Access was established in 2001 and developed into a leading manufacturer wall and ceiling access doors and panels. Recent high profile contracts that Profab Access products have been used on include; 100 Bishopsgate, Principal Place, South Bank Place, 52 Lime Street in London and The International Quarter in East London (photograph of riser doors above).
The company employs a team of 75 and operates from a 46,000 sq. ft. manufacturing and distribution facility in Atherstone, Warwickshire.
James Fisher, managing director for Bilco UK and Howe Green takes on the same role at Profab Access. Bilco UK, Howard Green and Profab Access are members of ERA Group, a £100 million Midland-based engineering group.
