OBEX CORTEX 0520FR Class B Breather Membrane is a W1-rated membrane with the added benefit of a 6-month UV exposure rating, and excellent tear-resistant properties.
The Class B fire-classification was achieved when tested in isolation to EN 13501-1. Testing in isolation is the most stringent method of testing, and provides peace-of-mind regardless of how the membrane is installed, either free-hanging or secured to the face of sheathing boards or other substrates.
This testing also included all the compatible tapes and fixing systems recommended for installation.
