QIC Trims form the new division of QIC Metalwork at their state of the art 38,000 sq/ft manufacturing facility in Buckinghamshire and is set to boost turnover after successful trading has enabled them to invest in its machinery and people.
The QIC legacy dates back over 25 years, and in that time has established a strong client base in the UK and abroad, manufacturing and supplying Aluminium Trims, the QIC R12 for example being one of the first extruded trim products to enter the market and still today proving the most popular. QIC also offer Blind Box Solutions, Partition Systems and metal components to the interior fit out sector.
QIC Metalwork will be able to offer all bespoke sheet metal fabrication solutions to the interior fit out and associated sectors. From simple folded angle products to more complex Metal Ceiling tiles required in standard and special sizes and everything in between, with our in house experienced technical team on hand to assist with any enquiry.
You may recall some two years ago the ongoing level of success at QIC, enabled the firm to invest in new on-site powder coating paint line, without impacting day to day supply to their national and international client base. The paint quality finish of products has already been enhanced, working with a leading brand such as Akzo Nobel with the new spray-treatment machine providing products in both standard colours and quick turnaround on bespoke colours.
The new machines will also help QIC improve efficiency by digitally tracking each product from the start to the end of the production line.
With an increase in manufacturing production capacity, the business is set to increase turnover by offering the most comprehensive range of metal products both standard and bespoke to the interior fit out sector.
Matt Woollam, Managing Director of QIC Trims, said: “We’ve been trading for many years, and being the market leader, our customers demand we expand our offer, serving both new and loyal customers in the Interior Fit Out Sector”.
“To build on this pedigree and extend our product offer and customer base in a competitive market, we need to be equipped with the latest technology and best-in-class machinery. Manufacturing is a real powerhouse sector for our regional economy. Specialist manufacturers like QIC are flying the flag for businesses in the UK and boosting the local economy”
