Some of the UK’s leading suppliers of specialist construction materials have been officially re-launched this week as part of SIG plc’s strategy to streamline the trading brands of its distribution arm, SIG Distribution.
Sheffield Insulations, Warren Insulation, Orion Trent, Woods Insulation, Franklin, Solent Insulation Supplies, CHD and CH Insulation will be known from now on as SIG Insulation.
SIG Technical Insulation will be the new name for Kitsons Thermal Supplies and GRM Distribution, while CPD Distribution and Ceiling System Supplies have been rebranded as SIG Interiors.
Following the announcement of the streamlining by SIG earlier in the year, the rollout of the new branding has now been completed, with marketing materials, vehicle livery and depot signage now carrying the new branding.
Paul Gordon, Managing Director of SIG Distribution, said: “The rebranding is designed to provide greater clarity for customers. Providing consistency across all our trade counters will make sourcing products and seeking technical advice as quick and cost-effective as possible.
“It’s important our customers know that the technical expertise and knowledge that made these businesses market leaders in their sector remain at the heart of SIG Insulation,” Paul added. “However with this new, clearer brand, customers will know exactly who to come to each and every time.”
SIG Fixings and SIG Construction Accessories are unaffected by the rebrand, and will continue to trade under their existing names.
Paul Gordon concludes: “With these five clearly defined business units, we will be able to better communicate the five core areas of specialism within SIG Distribution, to the benefit of our customers, suppliers and staff.”
