Following the appointment of Philip Johns as SIG UK Managing Director in March, European supplier of specialist building materials SIG has announced the new SIG UK Board of Directors.
There is a return to SIG for David Hope and Richard Burnley as Divisional Managing Directors North and South respectively for Distribution. Hope has over 22 years in the industry including 10 years at SIG where latterly he held the position of Sales and Marketing Director for SIG Distribution. Burnley joins SIG from his most recent role as MD for Kingspan Insulations, he previously worked at SIG for nine years holding various Director roles.
Key appointments have been made within the group and George King and John Magee both previously of SIG UK Exteriors will take up the positions of Divisional Managing Director South Exteriors and Operations Director.
Joining SIG as part of the UK Leadership team will be Andy Williamson as Commercial Director, with over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, including 11 years with the IKO Group where he held the position of Group MD for six years, Williamson has strong relationships with customers and suppliers and is recognised for his work with the BMF and CPA.
