Skills bootcamps for retrofit and the green energy sector

The Skills Bootcamps are free to adults aged 19+ who live or work in Greater Manchester.

There are two options available:

• Skills Bootcamp in Domestic Retrofit Advice
  This 11-week course to equip you with everything you need to kick-start your career in the domestic retrofit sector. Whether you’re new to retrofit with no previous training, or an experienced retrofit worker hoping to acquire new skills and career options, our Skills Bootcamp will help you on your way.

  Bootcamp graduates will achieve a recognised Level 3 qualification and a guaranteed job interview. And most importantly, you’ll get a foot in the door of an exciting and fast-growing sector that is crying out for new recruits.

• Skills Bootcamp in Energy Efficiency in Traditional Buildings
  Gain proficiency in energy efficiency with this new three-month course to equip you with everything you need to work in the green energy sector with a better understanding of the energy efficiency measures in older and traditional buildings before you step on site.

  Whether you’re new to energy efficiency and retrofit with no previous training, or an experienced worker hoping to acquire new skills and career options, this Skills Bootcamp will help you on your way.
