Style has installed their Skyfold Zenith automatic partitioning wall in prestigious refurbished offices on the 31st floor of the iconic Walkie Talkie building.
As with all Skyfold partitions, the Zenith descends from within the ceiling cavity at the touch of a button, but rather than unfolding as concertinaed panels, it slides automatically into place as almost entirely flat vertical panels. This allows the space to be quickly divided with the minimum of disruption or reorganisation of furniture. Offering 54dB acoustics, the Zenith partition combines here with a DORMA Moveo ‘magic glass’ wall to create different sized spaces to meet requirements.
Working with Originate Architects and the main contractor, Parkeray, Style was specified to create flexible space in the new UK head offices of Canadian-owned DBRS, an international credit rating agency. Ideal for busy rooms or those filled with fixtures, fittings, furniture or other obstacles, the Skyfold Zenith works in harmony with the DORMA sliding partitioning wall to create a stunning interior which maximises natural light and line of site visibility.
Julian Sargent, Group MD of Style, said: “The acoustic privacy afforded by the range is really second to none, whilst the fact that they store in the ceiling cavity critically means no lost floor space. The Zenith, with its slim path of travel, is ideal for any room where space is at a premium.”
In addition to the cutting edge Zenith partition, Style installed a new DORMA ‘Magic Glass’ sliding wall in the offices of DBRS.
