SPSenvirowall, a leading supplier of external wall insulation, render and facades, is celebrating securing two new accreditations.
The company’s innovative rain screen cladding, RendaClad – for the new build and off-site construction industry – has secured BOPAS (Buildoffsite Property Assurance Scheme) accreditation, while its new Cavity System 2, with flexible brick slips system, has been given a KIWA BDA certificate, achieving the EU reaction to fire rating of A2 – s1, d0.
RendaClad is the first and currently only proprietary solution which has undergone the rigorous BOPAS accreditation process, designed to give lenders and surveyors the assurance of the building materials utilised within a development.
The SPSenvirowall Cavity System consists of EuroClass A1 components, which are mechanically fixed back to the inner sheathing board to create the designed cavity width, with a secondary A1 sheathing board and insulation (CS2 system).
In addition to its KIWA BDA certification, the cavity system is also accepted by the NHBC, Premier Guarantee and LABC. It is also compliant with Approved Document B and Technical Handbook section 2.
