SIG Interiors has introduced stretch ceilings to its portfolio following an exclusive partnership with Surrey-based FIS member Stretch Ceilings, which supplies high-profile venues across the world.

SIG stretch ceilingThe introduction of stretch ceilings, which are available throughout the 27 SIG Interiors branches across the UK, will now enable SIG customers to transform their interior design projects. And the same stretch ceiling system can also be used for wall coverings, light diffusers and floating panels, and for endlessly creative shapes, including curves, domes and vaults.

Popular for settings including bars and restaurants, shopping centres, exhibitions and museums, the ceiling system comprises a lightweight fabric membrane that is stretched and clipped to a site-cut track system. A wide array of colours and finishes is available, including matt, satin, lacquer (mirror-like), metallic, perforated and translucent.

Commenting on this latest development, Martin Naptin, UK interiors director at SIG Interiors, said: “We are delighted to introduce this truly innovative system to our product range and to partner with Stretch Ceilings. Combining their technical proficiency with our extensive knowledge, customers can now benefit from expert design assistance, installation management and after sales care when choosing a stretch ceiling.”

Graham Savage, managing director of Stretch Ceilings, added: “SIG Distribution is renowned for its expertise and quality assurance. This, paired with a similar belief and approach to customer service, makes them the perfect distributor for Stretch Ceilings products. We are excited to be working with them to roll out this offering on a bigger scale.”
