CPD Distribution has re-launched its specialist Tenon Partitions website (www.tenonpartitions.co.uk) with an unique new 3D office fit-out simulator.

The new and improved website features exclusive ‘3D Showroom’ software, which allows visitors to view different fit-out options in a simulated office environment.

Using a ‘drag and drop’ programme that is simple to use, the 3D tool helps customers to match products, colours, textures, finishes and additional features to simulate the look and feel of their design projects. Once created, the finished design can be printed and sent to one of CPD’s local branches for a quotation and professional design.

Claire Wild, Tenon Technical Executive, who helped design the system comments: “We’ve been using 3D software like this at our local branches with great results. It was a logical progression to develop this into something that could help our customers to make the right choices about their designs, and in doing so save time and money in the early stages of projects.”

Along with the unique 3D software, the website provides comprehensive details of the full Tenon Partitions product range and technical guidance and performance data on each system to help customers select the right product to meet project specifications. Users can also seek inspiration from best practice case studies on how Tenon Partitions have been applied at various projects around theUK.

According to Martin Naptin, UK Interiors Director, providing value added services that go beyond the sale and distribution of a product is what has helped propel CPD and Tenon to the forefront of the construction supply chain.

“We are dedicated to providing customers with support and counsel wherever it is needed”, Naptin said. “The availability of this website and the 3D tool in particular, is aimed at further helping customers benefit from this commitment. It is all about being a partner, instead of just a supplier.”

Tenon products and systems are exclusively available from CPD – part of FTSE-250 construction supplies firm SIG plc, which delivers to customers from an extensive network of distribution centres across the UK.
