The ROCKWOOL Group has acquired US based ceilings grid manufacturer Chicago Metallic Company (CMC) in a deal which enables ROCKFON, the ROCKWOOL Group’s stone wool acoustic ceiling and wall solutions division, to offer complete systems to its global markets.

ROCKFON acoustic ceiling and wall solutions use stone wool as their raw material to create beautiful, comfortable, safe and healthy indoor environments while making a constructive contribution towards a sustainable future. From its Hedehusene headquarters near Copenhagen, ROCKFON operates sales offices in fifteen territories including Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern Europe, North America, Canada and China.
