AIS FPDC has secured triple grants for its members through the Sector Specific Training Plan (SSTP) scheme run by the National Specialists Contractors Council (NSCC).

Under the 2014/15 SSTP programme, an enhanced grant of £150 (three times the current CITB daily grant rate), plus a supplementary payment of 22%, will be paid for specific training.

Jane Cook, operations director at AIS FPDC, said: “Improving skills is an essential ingredient for any successful business and we’d encourage our members to take advantage of this opportunity.”

To qualify, employers must be registered with CITB and submit a completed training plan by 30 September 2014.
