A recent trade survey carried out by the Construction Products Association (CPA), on behalf of the Association of Interior Specialists (AIS) has revealed that the UK ceilings market is now worth around £194 million.
Feedback from ceilings manufacturers revealed that the market size in the UK is 18 million m2 ceiling tiles and panels and 51 million lineal metres of grids and trims. This equates to a market worth £194 million according to the CPA.
The survey was conducted during the early part of 2013.
AIS chief executive David Frise said the association intend to repeat the survey again during 2014.
