weber.rend OCR one-coat base render has been specified by main contractor C G Fry & Son in the construction of new properties at Poundbury, Dorchester. These dwellings sit within the south west quadrant and concludes Poundbury’s second phase of construction.
Designed by Ben Pentreath & Associates, London, the homes feature distinctive, classically designed houses, apartments and period-style terraces. Drawing closely on late 18th and early 19th century buildings in the county of Dorset care has been taken to re-create traditional architectural detail, use of stone and metalwork, and incorporate the skilful application of a decorative ashlar render finish.

It offers the added benefit of spray render pump application, to a thickness of 16-25mm, and can be sponged finished in around 4-6 hours. Curing takes place over 2-3 days before the application of a decorative textured finish or traditional masonry paint.
