One of Rap Interiors’ biggest projects is in full swing at Albion Fine Foods’ warehouse in Crossways Commercial Park, Dartford. The smooth running and progress of this large-scale project has been overseen by Rap Interiors’ experienced project team and is planned for completion in early spring.

The design and fit out project comprises a number of spaces, including staff washrooms, a large breakout area, a tasting kitchen, meeting rooms and an open office space.  The building is centered around food and the design for this expansive space will deliver zones of seating and eating areas for staff to relax and escape their busy working day. The use of a raised platform area, flexible furniture solutions and a designated tea point will occupy the space and create defined areas with the open plan layout.

Alongside the communal area, a separate commercial kitchen for staff meals also holds a tasting kitchen for Albion Foods to prepare and present recipes to clients. The tiling is nearing completion and is starting to resemble a kitchen.

The two large washrooms will include modern cubicles, showers and washbasins for the warehouse staff to utilise. The installation of grey cap and cove flooring and showers has already begun to create a sleek and clean aesthetic to the space.

On the second floor, Rap Interiors’ interior designers have designed an open plan office space incorporating modern office furniture and foliage with Acupanel feature walls.

Last but not least, the two meeting rooms and a boardroom are progressing well, with the Crittall glass defining the spaces and adding a modern corporate aesthetic. The flooring has been laid and, with the soon to be added furniture, the staff will have modern and professional meeting rooms to use.
