Horbury has announced its Charity Partnership for 2024 with PACT. This Charity supports families of children being treated for cancer or leukaemia at Sheffield Children’s Hospital and provides trips and treats for the families, two holiday caravans and accommodation near the hospital. It also supports research projects at the hospital and provides equipment for the ward, clinic and community nurses.
Horbury is kicking off its fundraising activities on 1 March by putting their best foot forward and virtually walking the length and breadth of the UK, calling in at all of their live sites, covering a total of 1,346 miles.
There will be nine teams who will all be racing to be the first to arrive back at Head Office in Rotherham, with each team member having to cover a minimum of 6.4 miles each day throughout March. There will be regular updates on the good, the bad and the ugly!
