AIS FPDC is to form a new Scotland Group which will meet three to four times a year and concentrate on issues specific to Scotland.

Issues will include training and up-skilling the workforce, technical standards,  PQQ processes and promoting the quality standards and best practices members adhere to.

Hugh Rattray, from Clansman Interiors, has been elected at the group’s first chairman.  He said: “Scotland is increasingly independent of the UK in terms of regulations, contracts and budgets. It therefore makes great sense to organise ourselves to reflect that change and to ensure AIS FPDC represents the interests of members in Scotland.”

Membership of the group is open to all AIS FPDC contractor and supplier members who are either based in and/or have offices or branches in Scotland.
