Direct2UTraining are looking to recruit Drylining Apprentices for its programme starting on 14 August 2023.
The awarding body for this qualification is City and Guilds and EAL and attracts CITB apprenticeship grant payments over 30 months an employer can claim £12000 plus an additional £2000 incentive grant (please contact your CITB advisor).
Where: Caerphilly Centre with a 9am start until 3pm. The programme itself will last approx. 30 months consists of 2 qualifications
When: starting 14 August
What’s on offer:
Apprenticeship core level 2
This consists of 6 generic construction unit plus 1 specialist unit of plastering and dry lining.
Assessment
This is assessed by online exam and centre based portfolio
Drylining Level 3
This consists of 6 generic units and 4 specific units in Dry lining:
- Dry Lining Core knowledge
- Install Dry Lining Systems
- Install plasterboard mechanically and direct bonding
- Apply plaster finish and tap and joint system to plasterboard background
Assessment
2 online tests
Site based project marked by employer and assessor
Professional discussion undertaken by representative of awarding body.
