A variety of Cembrit slates have been chosen to complement a stylish, nature-inspired housing development in the seaside town of Weymouth.
The Pemberly development consists of 176 houses, townhouses, apartments and bungalows and has been built by F H Cummings with the roofing contracted to Weatherbury Roofing, who specified Cembrit slates.
Cembrit’s Jutland (smooth) and Zeeland (textured) fibre cement slates were selected to offer a choice of smooth or textured finish for each design, blend in with the natural surroundings, accommodate the varying roof pitches and meet the high specification requirements. The slates are lightweight and pre-holed, which, combined with the fact that no grading or sorting is required, helped to achieve a speedy installation on-site.
The Jutland and Zeeland slates are manufactured to the highest European standards using Portland cement together with a formulation of superior blended synthetic and cellulose fibres.
