Clansman Interiors has recently completed a project at Wheatley House in Glasgow which involved the installation of glazed screens for partitioned office space and fitted glazed doors.
A mixture of Komfort Polar 30 and Komfort Polar 101 were used throughout the project. The Komfort Polar 30 used a mixture of 15mm and 12mm clear toughened heat-soaked glass to give added strength and reduced the risk of breakage.
The Komfort Polar 101 double glazed partition used a combination of 14.8 mm and 16.8mm acoustic laminate glass to achieve the high db rating of 53db.
Within both sets of partitions, Clansman installed Komfort aluminum door frames along with solid core doors from Forza with laminated finish including stainless steel ironmongery.
A set of Trojan double sliding doors were also installed at the building’s internal entrance. All SER and wind load calculations for these had to be worked out and fed into the appropriate specification.
