A specialist fit-out contractor based in Dorset has filed a notice which signals its intention to appoint an administrator.
JM Scully, which is based in Wimborne, employed just over 60 staff and clients include national companies such as Boots.
The firm had been working on project as far afield as Manchester and on a major scheme in Bristol. It operated in the retail, leisure and commercial sectors.

According to the latest results filed at Companies House which covered the year to March 2022 the business had a turnover of £23m and reported a pre-tax loss of £2.3m.
According to reports JM Scully blamed the situation on the loss of a single project worth £1.3m.
JM Scully was launched in 1983 by Mike Scully with just a handful of employees, The company was being run by Mike’s son, Michael Scully who took over as managing director in 2011.
The firm specialised in the retail, commercial and leisure sectors and clients included Boots, the Co-Op, Forever 21, Argos, Vodafone and Gymbox.
