As part of strategic plans to further enhance its fire protection offering, Minster has appointed one of the industries key fire protection specialists, Carrie Blackshaw.
In her role as Fire Protection Sales Director, Carrie will be focussed on driving Minster’s fire protection product proposition, heightening its solutions offering and bringing her knowledge and expertise to develop the capabilities of the entire Minster team.
Discussing the appointment, Reece Bailes, Sales Director, Minster said, “In every area of our business we are dedicated to delivering value-led solutions. Her knowledge and experience in this area is vast, having spent the last 15 years at Rockwool, and will undoubtedly enhance the solutions and product proposition we can provide. Carrie will also work closely with our marketing and training and development colleagues to deliver a robust training package, ensuring that the expertise of our teams is inimitable and that our solutions proposition is supported by real, technical knowledge.”

Carrie has spent the last 15 years at Rockwool in a variety of roles which saw her become Rockwool UK Fire Protection Manager. Her expertise is vast and extends from product development and fire testing though to navigating the implications of building regulations. She is passionate about the development of people in her team and has been actively involved in the design and delivery of fire protection education and training. From a commercial perspective Carrie has always had a strong relationship with main contractors and specialist sub-contractors and joining Minster she is well placed to assist the business in the delivery of a successful fire protection range.
