Paramount enters an exciting new era

Paramount enters an exciting new era

Here’s what Construction Director Paul Thomas and Commercial Director Dimitri Tsakiris had to say.

Paramount has been developing workspaces for over thirty years. Our roots started in Cardiff, where we focused mainly on furniture. As our business grew, we became a design and fit out contractor of choice amongst a diverse client portfolio.

In 2022, we opened what has recently become an award-winning office in the South West, and we’re now partnering with clients for workplace solutions in London, Manchester and beyond.

But it hasn’t all been plain sailing.

We navigated our way through the global pandemic, where the need for offices, or particularly the size of office space, was plunged into scrutiny.

Offices were left empty and unloved for months at a time. Some businesses took a year to get teams back together, and others are still yet to return to what was their ‘normal’ before Covid-19 struck.

Our clients trusted us to help save their offices. We partnered with cleaning specialists, signage experts and developed space plans to help maximise floorspace, in line with the latest UK-wide health and safety advice.

But what resulted towards the end of this period was opportunity. We saw more and more buildings being reused, repurposed and reinvented. More of our clients were coming to us to manage their projects that extended beyond the interior. From constructing end of journey shower blocks that would aid health and wellness, to external landscaping that would encourage people to meet and greet outdoors, as well as upgraded carparks with EV charging in support of a green travel policy.

Today, fortunately with the pandemic behind us, and with a new leadership team driving Paramount forward, with Richard Jones at the helm, Paramount has supercharged its core services offering to include Build – residential and commercial.

Not only that, but our business name has changed to reflect our expansion. Legally, we’re no longer Paramount Office Interiors Limited but Paramount D&B Limited, but you’ll just know us as Paramount.

There will be lots more to come from our Construction team, as projects complete and new schemes are won. But first we’ll introduce you to Paul Thomas, Construction Director and Dimitri Tsakiris, Commercial Director in the video below, where they provide a brief insight into the types of projects we’re currently working on, including an £18-million construction development on behalf of Tene Living in Salford, Greater Manchester, converting former offices into 151 high-end luxury apartments, complete with communal roof terrace, BBQ area and plans for an outdoor cinema. As well as a development with Valleys to Coast consisting of 20 EPC ‘A’ flats serving the over 50’s demographic in the coastal town of Porthcawl, South Wales.
