The glamour of a casino in the stunning surroundings of Plaisterers’ Hall in the heart of the City ofLondonwas the featured theme at FPDC’s annual charity ball last month.
Sponsored by CCF, more than 130 FPDC members helped to raise over £3,000 for the Wooden Spoon charity as they gambled the night away with FPDC chips.
Angela Mansell, FPDC’s president, said: “The evening gave FPDC the opportunity to enjoy some great entertainment and have a flutter at the tables, while helping to raise a bumper amount of money for the really deserving Wooden Spoon charity. It was a fantastic night.”
As guests from across the industry dined they had the opportunity to bid on much sort after sporting memorabilia at a silent auction. The evening’s entertainment then gathered momentum as soon as the Motor City Party Band took to the stage.
