Lincolnshire-based commercial interior design and fit out firm APSS has appointed a new quantity surveyor following increased demand within the business.

Stuart Campbell brings more than 25 years’ experience from within the construction industry and has been a quantity surveyor since the age of 17. Previously, he worked as a freelance estimator and worked for companies including Allison Homes, Ardmore Group, Kier Group and Mansell Construction among others.

Richard Mycroft, Operations Manager for APSS, said: “We‘re currently receiving a strong level of enquiries for larger projects such as retail showroom fit outs and commercial refurbishments. This has provided an opportunity for us to expand and strengthen our team with a variety of positions both office-based and on-site.

“We are also looking to recruit a new sales person, project manager, site foreman and site manager.

“With his experience, Stuart will be a great asset to the company, ensuring a smooth process for our customers. We pride ourselves on the transparency of our pricing, so our customers know there are no hidden costs and understand exactly what they’re getting for their investment. Stuart will be key to this.”

This appointment is the latest in a recruitment drive taken on by APSS to expand and increase its team of experts across all departments.

In July, both Emily May, Junior Designer, and Leanne Sleney, Administrative Assistant joined the team whilst two long serving staff members were promoted internally – Richard Mycroft, Operations Manager and Mark Wagstaff who was promoted to Senior Projects Manager.
